-----WHO’S WHO IN THE CAST & crew----
Aarush Santoshi/Albert Paterson is so excited to be playing Al-
bert in TMS’ 2020 production of Bye Bye Birdie. You might recog-
nize Aarush from TMS’ 2019 production of Willy Wonka, in which
he played the candy man/ensemble, or from TMS’ 2018 production
of The Wizard of Oz, in which he was the cowardly lion. This
year’s production is a bittersweet one for Aarush; this will be
Aarush’s last theater production in TMS. Outside of drama, Aarush
is active in many extracurricular activities, including Quiz Bowl,
Science Olympiad, guitar, orchestra, and chorus. Aarush hopes to
pursue theater in high school and beyond, and he wishes to be part
of one of the productions at Tenafly High School. Good luck to the cast and crew,
and thank you to Ms. Vardy and Ms. Girvan for your continued support and won-
derful guidance throughout rehearsals.
Mira Shah/Mrs. Merkle is an 8th grader. She is thrilled to
be part of the cast of Bye Bye Birdie.
She enjoys singing and dance choreography.
Max Ulis/Ensemble/Reporter is a 7th grader. Last year Max
had a great time playing Mike TV in Willy Wonka. Outside
of school Max enjoys playing tennis, basketball, and swim-
ming. In his free time, Max loves fishing with his brother
Jake. Big thanks to Mrs. Vardy and Mrs. Girvan and the full
cast of Bye Bye Birdie. Break a leg! Thanks to grandpa for
driving him to the rehearsals. Big thanks to all the family and
friends who came to see the play. Hope everyone enjoys the
show!!!
Nathan Uriona/Ensemble/Mayor is a kind hearted, loving,
caring, social and friendly person who enjoys school and is
always trying to make people laugh. In his free time, he en-
joys playing video games with friends and board games with
his family. In the summer, he likes to be outdoors whether
it’s in the swimming pool with his brother and friends, or
riding his bike with his family. He’s very versatile and
adapts very quickly to different situations and people. He
also welcomes new things and challenges. This year he
wanted to be part of the theater family and enjoys it a lot.
Way to go Nate!!
