-----WHO’S WHO IN THE CAST & crew----
John Fabbo is so excited to be a part of BBB! He started his act-
nd
ing career in 2 grade in Peter Pan. In high school, he starred in
The Stage Door Canteen and Oklahoma! Mr. Fabbo attended Rut-
gers back in the day and performed in two shows, winning a best supporting
actor award. Three years ago, he was Uncle, the big fat pig, in Charlotte’s Web.
He played a witch’s guard in The Wizard of Oz and he loved being a giant
Oompa Loompa in Willy Wonka last year! He wants to thank Mrs. Vardy and
Ms. Girvan for their commitment to TMS’ theater program! He also wants to
thank the TMS HSA for their dedication and tireless efforts to improve our
school as well as the Performing Arts Committee for volunteering their time in
making this happen!
Donna Girvan is in her 28th year as the Choral Director and Music
Teacher here at TMS. In addition to the productions of Willy Won-
ka and The Wizard of Oz at TMS, Mrs. Girvan has been the Musi-
cal Director and Accompanist for many High School and Community Theater
productions. Her musical career has also included serving as Minister of Music
and pianist at the Broughton Presbyterian Church in Bloomfield, NJ and the
Ramapo Valley Baptist Church in Oakland, NJ. Mrs. Girvan continues to main-
tain a private piano studio. She received her B.S. in Music Education at the
University of Connecticut and M.A. in Music Education at Montclair State Uni-
versity. Mrs. Girvan would like to thank the entire amazingly talented Bye Bye
Birdie cast for all of their hard work and enthusiasm in preparing for the show!
Dana Rizzo is the general music teacher at Stillman Elementary School.
She graduated from Montclair State University with a Bachelor's degree in
music education and an M.A.T. in music and teaching students with disa-
bilities. While she is primarily a pianist, Dana also enjoys playing violin, guitar, uku-
lele, and singing. Dana has performed at a variety of venues both singing and playing
piano. Some of these venues include local churches, pit orchestras, the NJPAC, coffee
houses, and Italy. Dana is very excited to be playing piano for the musical again this
year and can’t wait to see all the students’ hard work in Bye Bye Birdie!
