Chapter 1: Introduction

Model Identification

There are several different configurations of the MedPlus TotalAlert™ Alarm
Network (P6819), and the product numbers for each configuration are
determined by the following factors (see table 1-20 on page 1-48):
a. Revision level—All revisions are “A” at this time.

b. Alarm type.

c. Communication (Comms) option—This is the Ethernet-ready option,
and it only applies to Area Alarms (see table 1-21 on page 1-50).

d. Transducer mounting type—This only applies to the three-module area
alarm conversion kit (P6819A10) and the six-module area alarm
conversion kit (P6819A11) (see table 1-22 on page 1-50).

NOTE:
The transducers for the conversion kit model number P6819A12 always mount
inside the rough-in box, so no transducer mounting type code is needed.
e. Gas types (see table 1-23 on page 1-51).

f. Country of destination (see table 1-24 on page 1-51).

Cover plates are available to cover unused rough-in boxes (see table 1-25 on
page 1-51).
