       August 14                    Independence day celebration(Mont-1,2,3)
      Our tiny tots celebrated Independence Day with a lot of  patriotism and enthusiasm.

      August 21               Guess the object competition(Mont-1)  Guess! What is in the
      Mystery Bag? Animal toys, fruits, vegetables, shapes were hidden in a bag and kids were
      asked to dig in and identify the objects they came across.
                                   Vegetable salad Competition(Mont-3)
      A daily salad intake is a natural source of fibre and an important part of a meal . This was
      the reason to conduct the competition so that the kids are  encouraged to eat salads daily.

                             Picture Talk Competition(Mont-2)
      A picture Talk competition was held for Mont II children, where a picture was shown on
      the screen and  and they were asked  to speak few lines about it.

      August 24              Ganesh chaturthi celebration(Mont-1)
      Activity: Decorating picture of Ganesha with pulses.
      Ganesh Chaturthi also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi is the Hindu festival that revers God

      Ganesha. The children celebrated this festival by decorating Ganesha .

      September 4                            Self Introduction (Mont-1)
      Children introduced themselves by telling their name, age, family, favourite toys and about
      their school.

      September 5     th                                           Onam celebration (Mont-1,2,3)

      Kids  were  dressed  up  in  traditional  costume  .Teachers  also  wore  traditional  attire  and
      danced for a traditional song. Kids brought flowers for pookolam.
      Onam is the biggest festival in the Indian state of Kerala. Onam Festival falls during the
      Malayalam month of Chingam (Aug - Sep) and marks the homecoming of legendary King
      Mahabali. Carnival of Onam lasts for ten days and brings out the best of Kerala culture

      and tradition.
