November 14 th Children’s Day celebration(Mont-1,2,3 )

Teachers performed a dance and sang songs to the delight of the children. Children’s day (also
known as Bal Divas) in India is celebrated every year on 14th of November to increase the aware-

ness of people towards the rights, care and education of children.

November 16 (Mont-1) 20th (Mont-2,3) Field Trip
Fieldtrips give students educational experiences away from their school environment. Children
had great hands-on experiences at the supermarket and agriculture field that they visited.

November 17 On the road activity (Mont-1)
Kids brought their tiny vehicles like, bicycle, car, tricycle to the school. They had a ride on the ar-
tificial road, zebra crossing, traffic signal and traffic police created by the teachers.

Season Booth(Mont-2,3)

Season booth day depicting the three seasons of the year was organized to reinforce the concept
and enhance sensorial exploration , vocabulary skills in children. Kids wore seasonal clothes and
displayed the things used during each season.

November 25 Montessori - Sports Day
An event eagerly looked forward by everyone. The aim behind holding the event was to inculcate
the spirit of sportsmanship and fondness for sport in children . Various kinds of races, aerobics,

yoga were displayed . The events concluded with a fun race held for parents.

December

December 18 th Transport Outdoor Fun (Mont -1,2,3 )
Children brought their toy vehicles and displayed outside the class room. An Airport, Ship
Yard,a Railway station, Bus Station , Traffic signals all were done in a miniature form to explain
the concept of Transportation.

December 19 Showcase of Animals (Mont-1)
A Set up of mini forest with stuffed toy animals was displayed by the teachers.

December 22 Christmas Celebration (Mont-1,2,3)

Children were dressed up in white and red costumes. Fabulous performance were given by the
kids like dance, skit, carols.
