11 kV GANG OPERATED AIR BREAK SWITCHES
IN PORCELAIN & SILICONE RUBBER INSULATORS

The Gang Operated Air Break Switches are meant for outdoor application and are
suitable for horizontal or vertical mounting suitable for 11-33 kV 3 phase 4 wire
network. They are designed for satisfactory performance in harsh atmospheric conditions of
high/low temperatures & humidity. Their primary function is to isolate a line and are
available in single pole & three pole versions with 2 or 3 insulators per pole. Copper
contacts are made of ETP grade high conductivity copper and are spring loaded for adequate
contact pressure. All MS parts and hardware are duly hot dip galvanized as per standard
specifications which imparts long life to the switch.
The air Break Switches in Silicone Rubber Insulators which have distinct advantages over
conventional Porcelain Insulators. The Air Break Switches are available in current rating of 200,
400 & 630A and have been type tested from CPRI India as per IS 9921 (part-4) : 1985 and
IEC 62271-102

SURGE ARRESTORS

The Surge Arrestors are an indispensable
protection devise needed to protect a transformer
against natural lightning & switching surges in a high
voltage networks. They are designed for satisfactory
performance in harsh atmospheric conditions of high/
low temperatures & humidity. Asiatic offers the latest
gap less metal oxide technology which is far superior
to conventional systems being used previously. Surge
Arrestors are available in rated voltages of 3-36 kV
with discharge currents ranging from 5 -10 kA.
The Surge Arrestor in silicone rubber are compar-
atively light weight & un-breakable, hydro pho-
bic, resistant to UV rays, chemicals, ozone & offers
excellent resistance to aging.

COMPOSITE INSULATORS

Asiatic offers a wide range of Composite/Line
Insulators in Silicone Rubber with host of end
fittings to exact requirements of the custom-
ers from 11 - 36 kV. We are also manufacturing
Composite Insulators for Indian Railways.
