Spätburgunder vom Höllenbrand
„Wir sind unseren Weinkunden verp ichtet, denn der Gundersheimer Höllenbrand ist am Markt stark gefragt; die Lage gehört zu den bes- ten Rotweinanbaugebieten in ganz Deutschland. Die Gemeinde Gundersheim baut auf 50 Pro- zent ihrer Reb äche Rotweine an, davon allein 40 Prozent Spätburgunder. Gerade der Spät- burgunder auf den sanften Hügeln des Won- negaus verfügt über ausgezeichnete klimati- sche Voraussetzungen. Wonnegauer Rotweine sind bekannt für ihre gut entwickelten Aromen, ihr Bukett von roten Früchten. Tiefgründiges Terroir gibt den Weinen eine leichte Minerali- tät mit. Aber auch die Weißweine erfreuen sich auf dem Markt bester Nachfrage: Säurebeton- te, kraftvolle Rieslinge mit ausgezeichneter Fri- sche, Weiß- und Grauburgunder mit viel Frucht.

„We are committed to our wines, because the Gundersheim Höllenbrand is in strong demand on the market; this region is one of the best red wine cultivation areas in the whole of Germa- ny. The municipality of Gundersheim cultiva- tes red wines on 50 percent of its vine-growing land, 40 percent of which is Pinot Noir alone. The Pinot Noir on the soft hills of the Wonnegau, in particular, enjoys exceptional climatic condi- tions. Wonnegau red wines are known for their well-developed aromas, their bouquet of red fru- its. Deep-seated terroir lends the wines a light minerality. But the white wines too enjoy very high demand on the market: powerful, acid-ac- centuated Rieslings with excellent freshness, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris with a lot of fruit.
