BUILD THAT
FRAMEWORK
A common myth concerning speaking off the cuff, is that
you can never prepare for it. That's not true.
In fact.most of the times, the speaker whom you deem as
being great at being spontaneous, are always the most
prepared. Hard to believe I know.
Here is the trick, that they will be more than happy to share,
if you had asked.
Always have a framework or structure.
Communication magicians do not just pluck their
approaches to speeches out of thin air. While it may appear
that way to you, the fact is, these communication geniuses
were just laying contents into a simple framework. Usually,
this framework is simple and practical. If you have a
framework or structure, it will be hard for you to be speaking
haphazardly.
Let me give you an example of a very simple framework or
structure.
