BUILD THAT
FRAMEWORK
You can simply begin by giving an introduction. A very brief
one. Then build in the "meaty" part of your speech with
three points as contents. Give references or examples, to
further enhance your points. Then close off your speech with
either a summary or a conclusion. Simple right?
So for example, if you are asked to stand up and give a short
speech on love, what you can do is:
Introduction
Love is a strange thing.
Content
It has united and divided nations for centuries. (Point 1)
It has been the source of inspiration for the greatest stories
that were ever told. (Point 2)
It has always been the foundation upon which human
beings interacted. (Point 3)
Closing
Love is that one emotion we can never live without.
That's all there is to building a framework or structure. Once
you have a defined structure, it's just a matter of putting in
the necessary contents.
