While the list may be extensive, knowing what to choose as
your content is vital. The trick about being prepared for
impromptu speeches, is knowing what works. So you have
to bear that in mind.
A quick checklist on what you will want to choose as
contents will be,
1. Is it relevant?
2. Is it engaging?
3. Is it memorable?
4. Is it worthwhile?
5. Is it important?
If some or most of what you will want to say, rates high on
the above checklist, then it is a content you need to deliver.
Nobody wants to listen to an impromptu speech that is
filled with jargon, nonsense and blabbers. So if you have a
story to share, make sure it ticks highly on the checklist
above.
