HEADLINES.
THAT'S IT.
Here's a quick fact.
You do not have much time to make an impression. And
most people are not obligated to give you too much of their
time too.
So what this means for the aspiring impromptu speaking
magicians is this. You have to make impact at the get go.
You will not have a lot of time to make a literary impression
on your audience. Audience these days are suffering from
the "impact me in a tweet" syndrome. They believe that
have understood the whole scope of a story just by reading
the headlines. That's just the way it is now.
So if you are confronted with a short opportunity to present
an impromptu speech or make a presentation unprepared,
just heed the golden rule. "Headlines. That's it!"
Craft your speech in a way that aids retention and
remembrance. If your audience can remember your entire
speech by just that single quote you uttered, that will be
fantastic.
So how can you craft out a headlines that impacts?
