Following contact with regional finance, it has been discovered that the main anomalies relate to the reimbursement of furlough monies which THQ paid out on 30 June 2020, but, unfortunately, do not show in all of the monthly reports. We understand that the sectional reports of the nursery and the charity shop/furniture are incorrect as the furlough refunds do not show in these reports. They do, however, in the summary report (first report shown above).
For the purposes of providing feedback on the financial performance of The Haven, the figures below have been extracted from a number of sources using the figure most likely to be accurate. Sources include the various reports distributed by THQ, The Haven’s in-house records and making enquiries using TSAs accounting system, previously known as SAASY.
It should be noted that the additional staffing costs incurred during 2019 – 2020, which were directly attributable to the pay review, were not reimbursed (approximately £ 11K) until the 31 March 2020. It is possible, therefore, that the same will happen in 2020 – 2021.
