statues. Upon arrival, walk through the village and meet the artists who create
puppets. Enjoy a water puppet show in the village.
Later continue towards Haiphong and check-in at hotel.
Overnight in Haipong.
DAY 3
Haiphong - Halong
After breakfast, short city tour of Hai Phong, the most important port in the North
with its colonial architecture. Visit the Du Hang Pagoda, built under the Ly Dynasty,
it is considered an ancient architectural relic of the city, and Hang Kenh Communal
House with its numerous wooden sculptures before continuing to the majestic
Halong Bay, listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
Arrive in Halong by midday and board on a junk for a memorable cruise through the
mystical Halong Bay. Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, navigation between the karts, some of which display extraordinary
shapes.
