PROCESS
Step7- At this point of time retail merchandiser/
planner decides the quantity which are to be
ordered for particular style and also grade the
merchandise into 3 categories A,B and C based on
the price, style and quality.
Step8- Now sourcing team arranges the vendors for
production and then next task is to negotiate
with the vendors on the price to reduce the margin.
Step9- Once the vendors are decided, fit and proto
comments are given to the vendors on the fit
sample. Also fabric quality and lab dips are also
checked at this point of time.
Step10- A Pre-production (PP) sample before the
production starts is sent to check fits, fabric,
trims and other details.
Step 11- Post PP sample, a size set sample and a
Shipment sample are prepared and checked.
