Eta Sigma Alpha Honor Society hosted their annual College Night! Eight colleges
were in attendance and made presentations regarding their requirements for home
schooling students to enter university education. Three former Quest students
came to talk about their college experiences. Honors colleges were also
represented. Scholarship possibilities were offered. Opportunities for students to
enter the mission field were also presented.
Eta Sigma Alpha Honors Society celebrated Mole Day with cake and the opportunity
to build your own mole.
Student/Parent/Teacher conferences were implemented and will be expanded in
the future. Teachers are available either before or after class for any parent or
student that ever has concerns.
Lego Night, hosted by Student Council, was held at the Oro Valley Church of the
Nazarene. Eight tables were filled with competitors from elementary through high
school age. Three winners were selected by the judges by gaining the highest
scores in categories such as creativity and realism.
The PSAT was offered in collaboration with Pusch Ridge Christian Academy.
Mrs. Boone’s art classes were invited to display their art during the month of
October in the Oro Valley Town Council chambers. The students presented
Quest to the Town Council and answered questions almost 20 minutes about
the innovative ways we teach here.
