“THE MORE
PEOPLE I
CAN BRING
TOGETHER,
THE
STRONGER
OUR
COMMUNITY
BECOMES.”
-Porsha Schiller,

t is with great sadness we say goodbye to an amazing woman, Porscha Schiller.
ITruly stunning, with a radiant smile that lit up an entire room and an infectious laugh,
Porscha definitely had her own style, sophistication and grace that could make anyone
feel like they were the only and the most important person in the room.
She was passionate about many things: her family, her community, local wine, music
and art. Not just enjoying those things, but working hard to make sure they had their
place in the spotlight to thrive. She was a genuine and dynamic ambassador for the wine
industry, local musicians, artists, and for the community she loved. Porscha was the
director of marketing and tasting room manager for South Stage Cellars. She loved the
possibilities when people connected over amazing wine. Somewhat of a pioneer in the
industry, under Schiller’s direction partnerships with South Stage Cellars’ winemakers
had expanded to link local musicians and restaurants in many wine and dine events,
tasting series, and classes held in their intimate tasting room and gardens in the heart of
historic Jacksonville. “The more people I can bring together,” said Schiller, “the stronger
our community becomes.”
So honor the legacy she leaves behind and do something she would have loved: go to
a gallery, listen to some live music, drink some local wine, but above all, make those
around you feel special.
