HEART OF THE ROGUE FESTIVAL

owntown Medford will be transformed into a celebration
Dshowcasing the best of the Rogue Valley at the Heart of the
Rogue Festival on Friday and Saturday, October 15-16. A partner-
ship with Travel Medford, Rogue Marathon, Downtown Medford
Association, Rogue Valley Wine Country, and Kid Time Children’s
Museum, this family-friendly event will celebrate our community
of local artists, musicians, makers, growers, and outdoor experts.

The Rogue Suspects will kick off the festivities Friday afternoon at
4:30 at Blossom Lounge, located in Pear Blossom Park. Danielle
Kelly Soul Project will take the stage at 6:30. While there, enjoy
Wine Country Lane, featuring local wine, beer and spirits, food
and drink vendors, and various Rogue Valley makers.

The Heart of the Rogue Festival coincides with the Rogue Marathon
and Bikes N Brews (packet pick-up available at Pear Blossom
Park), with both events to start and end in downtown Medford
on Saturday. Bikes & Brews offers five routes with a course for
most every ability—from the four-mile, family friendly “Root Beer
Cruiser” up to “The Stout,” a 65-mile route to Sams Valley.

The Rogue Marathon is a certified Boston Marathon Qualifier, and
also offers a half marathon, 10k, and one-mile kid run. The route is
new this year, starting and ending in downtown Medford with an
after-party celebration worth the hard work of training.

Beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday, the festival will extend from Pear
Blossom Park to the downtown corridor featuring street music,
Rogue Valley vendors, food and drink vendors, a Kid’s Zone, Wine
