AROUND TOWN
Developmental Junior Tour Begins Play
The Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association is now offer-
ing the Play 9 Development Tour. This tour is for beginning
junior golfers from ages 6-14 throughout Las Vegas and
Henderson who would like to participate and learn more
about the game of golf.
The Tour kicked off March 28 at Eagle Crest Golf Club in
Golf Summerlin and features nine-hole tournaments, a per-
fect way to get kids out on the course.
The fun and relaxed tour is designed to get juniors (and
parents) playing golf more regularly, to instill confidence,
and most importantly, to have fun! By exposing new young
players to a fun competition, we hope to teach sportsman-
ship, responsibility, and a great understanding of the game.
The Play 9 Development Tour is split into different tours—
spring, summer, and fall.
