AWARDSWARDS
OREGON PACIFIC
FINANCIAL ADVISORS
CELEBRATES 25 YEARS
regon Pacific Financial Advisors, Inc (OPFA), one of Oregon’s
Opremier wealth management firms for individual investors and
businesses, celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, a milestone that
complements the firm’s focus on providing long-term financial wisdom
to their clients and the communities they serve. “From the beginning,
we focused on being a full-service financial firm to our clients and an
active member in our community. We weren’t concentrated on being
the biggest firm, rather we started small and eventually built our ser-
vices and client base over time, keeping this focus top of mind,” says
OPFA President and CEO Royal Standley. They specialize in creating an
approach designed to address a client’s individual situation, whether an
individual or a business. OPFA, using a teamwork approach, addresses
financial planning, investing principles and strategies, retirement invest-
ing and distribution strategies, estate conservation issues, risk manage-
ment, and more.
They have also been recognized for their strong commitment to the
Southern Oregon community by volunteering and supporting causes
that include Maslow Project, Asante Foundation, and Southern Oregon
Head Start.

SOU
TREE CAMPUS USA FOR 6TH YEAR
outhern Oregon University has earned recognition as a 2019 Tree
SCampus USA, an honor it has held since 2014. The program, an
Arbor Day Foundation program started in 2008, honors colleges and
universities and their leaders for promoting healthy trees and engaging
students and staff in the spirit of conservation. Only seven Oregon col-
leges (a total of 383 nationwide) received the recognition last year.
All trees planted at SOU’s Arbor Day celebrations are donated by Plant
Oregon, a Talent nursery. SOU offers free t-shirts and lunches to its
Arbor Day volunteers. Arbor Day 2020 is on Friday, April 24.
