                           LIVING LARGE ON LITTLE
HOW TO SEE THE INVITATION IN LIMITATION
                           by Anna Elkins

e live in a culture that suggests more is
Wbetter, that bigger is better. The concept
of less seems reserved for those few who are
underprivileged or are following a fad. Poet and
painter Anna Elkins sees the concept of less in
an entirely different light. She has lived a good
life on very little income. Over the years, people
have asked her how, so she gathered her stories and concepts in a book.
In its pages, you will find musings on gratitude and grace, encounters
with pricey pastries, and ideas for growing the imagination—all part of
learning to see obstacles as opportunities and limitations as invitations.

Anna Elkins has degrees in art, English, and poetry, and a Fulbright
Fellowship to write art-inspired poetry in Germany. She has won a
few things and lost many others, and has written, painted, and taught
on six continents. Along her travels, Anna has published several books
and exhibited many paintings. One of her greatest joys is encouraging
people to discover and delve into their creativity.
