TILLER
THE ART & CRAFT FAIR
Looking for an off-the-beaten-path Saturday outing? Head to Tiller on July 18. Five years ago, residents of
Tiller started the Art Fair to highlight the talents of the community and share the beauty of South Umpqua
River area. (Tiller is located on Oregon Route 227 and the South Umpqua River, in the Umpqua National
Forest.) This event is part of their broader “Come to Your Senses” program. There will be artists, demon-
strations, food, and live music all day long. The event demonstrates the community spirit of a small town,
where everyone pitches in and volunteers their time and services.
July 18, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the Tiller Church front lawn
HEARTS & VINES
ANNUAL CHARITY AUCTION AND WINE TASTING EVENT
Since 1993, Hearts & Vines Foundation has relied upon the generosity and kindness of Southern Oregon
friends and neighbors. The foundation helps support those on the front lines in the effort to prevent and
eliminate domestic violence through its management and disbursement of monetary grants. Proceeds from
the Annual Charity Auction and Wine Tasting Event fund those grants to local programs aligned with the
Heart & Vines Foundation Mission. To date, they have disbursed over $3.5 million as grants to qualifying
organizations.
In 2017, the event was moved from its founder’s venue (Valley View Winery), wanting to rotate it various
Rogue Valley wineries. To date, the event has been to Downtown Medford, 2 Hawk, EdenVale, and Bayer
Family Estate. This year, the site is the recently established Hummingbird Estate for the Septemer 27th event.
Hummingbird Estate opened September 19, 2019 in an English Cottage style home built in 1926 by famed
British architect Louis B Humphreys, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

PORCHFEST 2020 GRANTS PASS
GREAT MUSIC COMING TO A PORCH NEAR YOU!
Porchfests are annual music festivals held on front porches in small towns and large cities across the nation,
bringing musicians and neighbors together to build community spirit. The Grants Pass event, held on front
porches of vintage homes in the NW Washington Boulevard neighborhood, will feature nearly 90 musi-
cians performing everything from country to pop, folk to R&B and more. Plus, fantastic food, great arts
and crafts!
The event area will be closed to traffic, allowing attendees to stroll or bike through the neighborhood and
bring lawn chairs to sit and enjoy the music. Food, drink, and arts vendors located throughout the neigh-
borhood and in Lawnridge Park will round out the festival experience.
The Rogue Gateway Rotary Club organizes the music festival; planned for June 20 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Profits go to underwrite programs for youth — including donating a portion of the proceeds to CASA of
Josephine County, Family Solutions, and Exchange for Change (E4C).
