A research team led by Ts. Dr. Nazrita Ibrahim, the Head
of Unit, IICE, UNITEN, accompanied by the Research
Engineer of IICE, Ms. Farhah Amaliya, was invited to
a talk show, Borak Kopitiam. They demonstrated a
virtual reality system that helps to calm its users and
eventually reduce stress levels known as VRELAX –
Stress Therapy Virtual Reality System.
UNITEN ENGAGEMENT WORKSHOP
2019
08 - 09 March 2019
The first UNITEN Engagement Workshop 2019 for
business units under the Vice-Chancellor’s Office was
held from 8 to 9 March 2019 and took place at Avillion,
Port Dickson, where more than 60 staff participated. All
programs during this workshop promoted teamwork
among UNITEN staff regardless of business units.
Everyone worked together and enjoyed their time
during the engagement workshop.
ACADEMIC INNOVATION TO FACE THE
FUTURE

The Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Sains Malaysia
(USM), Prof. Datuk Dr. Asma Ismail highlighted the
notion of innovation in an effort to enhance academic
performance. The audience was mesmerized by her
captivating idea on current issues faced by universities,
in general. In short, the speaker delivered a compelling
talk that would benefit UNITEN community.
