IV. Community Amenities
A. Open Space, Trails and Recreation:
The community is enhanced by the natural beauty of the area, including forested areas and 15 lakes covering 47 acres. There will be more than 7.5 miles of miles of meandering inter-community walkways and 3.5 miles of multi-purpose trails. 30-acres are dedicated to the preservation of trees native to the Tidewater area.
B. Village Green
The Village Green is located in Ranier Village and serves as a venue for outdoor community gathering opportunities as well as passive resident use. The Village Green consists of gardens, pathways lined with seating, and a playground. In the center of the Village Green sits a platform lined with pergolas for events such as movie series under the stars, small concerts, and other performances. There is also a large open play area available for anything from casual pickup games to community wide get-togethers. Additional pocket parks are planned for each upcoming neighborhood and will be connected to existing neighborhoods by community wide pathways and trails.
