DISTRICT RULES AND PROCEDURES COMMITTEE
2. COMPOSITION AND QUALIFICATIONS OF THE COMMITTEE:
2.1. The Rules and Procedures Committee shall consist of not less than seven (7) members made up of:-
2.1.1 Two (2) Past Governors; and
2.1.2 Five (5) Club Past Presidents of not less than five (5) years standing as a Rotarian;
2.2. All members of the Committee shall be elected at the District Conference or by postal ballot.
2.3. In the event that any one or more of the Committee members shall cease to be a member of a club in the district, demise or shall become incapable to
perform the duties as a Committee member, the District Governor shall be entitled to substitute the member.
2.4. All members shall take office from the first day of the next Rotary year (1st July) and remain in office until the last day of that Rotary year (30th June).

2.5. The Committee shall elect its Chairman from one of the Past Governors.
2.6. Members of the Rules and Procedures Committee shall not be eligible to participate or seek election for any of the positions mentioned in rule 1.1
above nor shall they be involved in approving, proposing, supporting or seconding any candidate for such positions. The Members of Rules and
Procedures Committee shall not give their views on any of the candidates vying for the positions mentioned in rule 1.1 above.
2.7. Members of the Rules and Procedures Committee shall not be appointed or accept any appointment to the District Nominating Committee, District
Credentials Committee and District Ballot Committee for the Rotary year in which he holds office as a member of the Rules and Procedures Committee.
