DISTRICT AWARDS COMMITTEE


      A. Functions of the District Awards Committee
      1. The main role of the Committee is to help the District Governor recognize outstanding projects and achievements through the presentation of district
      awards
       (“the district awards”).
      2. The Committee also:
      a. promotes awareness of the district awards and other RI awards;
      b. encourages clubs to submit projects and achievements for district awards and other RI awards;
      c. helps and advises clubs on all matters relating to awards;
      d. establishes and publicizes the rules for district awards, and
      e. generally, assists the District Governor on matters relating to district awards.
      3. All decisions are made by the Awards Committee under the guidance of the District Governor.

      B. Categories of Awards, Deadlines & Rules
      1. Listed below are :
      a. the types of district awards for clubs,
      b. the project submission deadlines or the dates on which consideration for awards or recognitions end, and
      c. the relevant paragraphs of these rules governing each award.
      2. The Committee may recommend to the Governor any award/ recognition not listed in this table.
      3. The Committee may make new rules or change these rules, and will inform clubs of any changes.
      4. RI and TRF awards are subject to such further or other rules stipulated by RI and TRF.
