DISTRICT AWARDS COMMITTEE
Format & Submission
i. The Report should contain a project title and the avenue of service the award for which it is submitted for consideration.
ii. The Report maybe in printed or electronic form. Printed Reports must not be more than 12 A4 pages, including photographs. Submission in electronic
form should be in Words format.
iii. Reports should be sent to all members of the District Award Committee. Faxed Reports are not acceptable.
iv. Two or more clubs undertaking a joint project can submit a joint Report.
v. Marks are given for each submission on the following basis
· Meet needs assessment of benefitting community 25
· Post project on Rotary showcase 25
District Awards Committee
· Membership and partner in service involvement 20
· Promoting Rotary 15
· Originality 10
· Relevance to areas of focus 05
vi. Consideration will also be given to involvement of Rotaract, Interact, Rotary alumni and family members in projects
vii. Projects previously submitted for consideration are not eligible for entry again with the exemption of the Best Long Term Project.
viii. Clubs can submit as many projects as they wish for consideration.
ix. The closing date for all submission is 29 April 2020.
x. The District Governor may increase the number Awards in any category and his decision is final.
