Fashion Studies 10-20-30
Fashion Studies is Composite High’s latest exciting and creative program to gain real-life, hands-on experience
in fashion design and construction. This course includes sewing,
sketching, drafting, designing garments and quilting textiles. This
program uses the latest multi colour stitchers and techniques to
elevate success in all our fashion students. This will start to
prepare a student for a career in the dynamic Fashions Industry

Foods 10-20-30
We love food! Do you love food? Foods 10-20-30 offers
students with the opportunity to develop their cooking and
baking skills while focusing on nutrition, cooking techniques
and food safety. Students learn in a hands-on environment
and have many opportunities to develop their confidence in
everything from preparing and cooking meats and
vegetables, to learning different cake baking methods. Food studies provide students with the skills
necessary to cook for themselves and their families for years to come.

Cosmetology 10-20-30
Cosmetology introduces students to hairstyling techniques, grooming procedures and skin care. It is an
awesome program that allows students to work towards a career in the field of hairstyling or for general
interest.

Esthetics 20-30
Esthetics students will explore manicuring, pedicuring, nail art, facials, gel nails, body adornment, and
makeup and client services.
At the completion of esthetics 20 and/or 30, students will have experienced and learned the latest
techniques that are offered at today’s spas and resorts.

Construction 10-20-30
Construction Technology will allow you to develop skills in construction techniques. With a focus on
safety, hands-on projects will give you experience in woodworking, carpentry and building construction.

Fabrication Studies 10-20-30

Students learn fundamental welding techniques using different types of industry equipment. Developing
skills in workplace safety, metal fabrication, design, oxy-acetylene, electric arc (MIG, TIG and Stick),
power and hand tools is what Composite High Instructors Focus on with our students.

Mechanics 10-20-30

Mechanics gives students the practical opportunity to perform a variety of services on static displays and customer
vehicles with a hands-on experience, focusing on Safety, business ethics, and customer service.
