Sustainable Building Design
The Property Department’s sustainable building design approach aims to strike a balance between cost-e ectiveness and operational performance. As with the SCTC, Property will continue to seek sustainable building certi cations and awards on a case by case basis.
Renovation projects will incorporate sustainable design elements following the success of previous projects, such as the Racecourse Master Plan, to further improve customers’ experience. As our portfolio expands, our exposure to sustainable design and facilities management elements increases. Property will apply the knowledge and insights gained through accrued experience to future projects.
As a testament to the evolving nature of our sustainability journey, we will also continue to update the Sustainability Framework for Property Projects to shape a clear roadmap towards a sustainable built environment over the whole building life cycle.
“Sustainability is an ongoing mission for Property, which is responsible for the health and performance of the Club’s property assets. To this end, we need to capitalise on the latest technological advancements, market intelligence and rst-class service providers to operate our facilities more ef ciently for the good of our customers, employees, as well as the community and the environment at large.”
