Then, we were young,
Loud, naughty, and clueless,
as you stood before your colleagues,
they saw a teacher,
to us the reflection was a parent and a mentor.
You stressed that we dream,
You stressed as we age,
even mentally may we grow to be strong,
You stressed that education has the power to unlock every door.
You prayed, even pleaded with God that He seizes us on his path.
Do you remember all these?
Best all you ever said laid in us.
Today through you here we are as we are, with all we have,
we have managed to make life make sense.
