McDevitt Garage Parking for Ob/Gyn Resident

UPMC residents in the Obstetrics and Gynecology training program at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC are assigned
parking in the McDevitt Parking Garage. The garage is located approximately one-block from the hospital. The cost of
parking for Ob/Gyn residents is supplemented by the hospital. Residents pay a discounted rate of $61.25/month (October
2019). The rate is subject to change. While on night rotations, you can park at the Magee visitors’ lot. Your ID badge will
permit entrance into the visitors’ lot only between the hours of 2:30 pm to 4:00 am but you must exit by 9:00 am. After
9:00 am, your badge will not work.

Driving Directions to Garage: You will need your ID badge to enter and exit the garage. You must physically place your
badge onto the reader to activate the gate. The entrance to the garage is from McDevitt Place. McDevitt is a two-way
street. If using a GPS, enter McDevitt Place at Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15213:
• From Forbes Avenue: Make a right onto McDevitt. The entrance to the garage will be immediately to the
left.
• From the Boulevard of the Allies (towards downtown): Go past Magee. The Hampton Inn is in the next
block on the right. You will need to make a right onto McDevitt Place at the traffic island (this is right
beside the Hampton Inn). Slow down or you will miss the turn! The entrance to the garage is on the right
toward the end of the road.
• From the Boulevard of the Allies (from town): Take the Forbes Avenue exit and merge onto Forbes
Avenue. You will need to then immediately merge to the right lane. Make a right onto McDevitt. The
entrance to the garage will be immediately to your left.
