Curriculum vitae (CV)
Vitae means “life” so it refers to a person's life accomplishments (once they
have graduated until now or before they graduated. It usually carries long details
maybe about 10 pages, and for some people it can be like a book). An official
document that is used for academic purposes.

Resume
It will not be a thick one, only one page or a maximum of 2 pages, want an
executive summary, and a brief one about you.

• A summary of a person’ most relevant achievements

Application/Cover letter
A resume is just a chronological thing but it can't just walk by itself. You need a letter or
a cover letter to address who you would like to address them. If you need to submit it by email,
you should also mention who you sent to and attached the file of your resume when you sent it.
Application / Cover letter must contain the following components:
• Introduction
Try to tell them why do you think you are the best or the perfect match for that
job position that they are looking for. Be careful if you write this: don't be too long
because it is an introduction.
• Listing of your skills
Backups of why you are perfectly matched with what the company is looking for.
Whenever you write this paragraph, you aren't putting your resume but sum up talking
or describing a little bit because the resume is a little bit more bullet point.
• State what you would like to see happen
It's a conclusion what do you expect them to call you. So, be assertive but still
polite.
When you write a letter make sure you do the “AIDA”.
