Day 06
Morning
Enjoy breakfast at leisure before departure for a breathtaking day trip that will
highlight everything that Killarney’s has to offer. Gather at Kate Kearney’s Cottage
(150 year old restaurant) where guests will climb aboard Jaunting Cars (horse drawn
carts) which take you through a narrow winding road to the Gap of Dunloe.
Early Afternoon
Following on from the morning trip through the Gap of Dunloe; arrive by horse cart
to Lord Brandon’s Cottage (an old fi shing cottage) where a banqueting team await
with crisp linen, a glass of wine and a lovely outdoor picnic – all served in silver
service style.
Late Afternoon
After lunch one of the local boatmen will take you across the lakes, sharing
Irish legends along the way and docking at Ross Castle. Here our team will once
again be waiting, this time, with a warm Irish coffee and some artisan nibbles.
Evening
A private Gala Dinner can be arranged with local entertainment. Guests can share
stories and exchange tales told by the jaunting car drivers and boatman – many are
almost too good to be true.
May the roof above you never fall in, and those gathered
beneath it never fall out.
