Day 05
Morning
Enjoy breakfast at leisure before setting off on a craft trail around the Dingle
Peninsula. Stop-offs will include Brian de Staic prestigious handcrafted jewellery
workshop, a chance to cut your own Irish crystal at Dingle Crystal and a visit to
Ireland’s smallest commercial gin and vodka distillery.
Afternoon
After a hearty lunch in the quaint Ashe’s Pub in Dingle– explore the most westerly
tip of Ireland and visit the Blasket Heritage Centre, a fascinating cultural centre and
museum honouring the unique community who lived on the remote Blasket Islands
until their evacuation in 1953. This will be followed by a visit to the world renowned
pottery studio of Louis Mulcahy. En route back to Killarney you may decide to stop
and dip your toes in the wild Atlantic Ocean at Inch Beach.
Evening
There are a number of delightful and characteristic restaurants to choose from
in Killarney town – all boast wonderful menus created from fresh local
ingredients and each one offers a unique level of Irish charm that will resonate with
your group long after they leave our shores.
Late Evening
Explore the many pubs of Killarney where you can enjoy a pint of Guinness while
taking in some authentic traditional music and dancing.
