RESOLUTION BY THE ADMINISTRATION, PERSONNEL, POLICY,
AND LEGAL COMMITTEE AUTHORIZING AN INCENTIVE PAYMENT IN 2018

FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS
LABORERS

WHEREAS, many village employees received wage adjustments in 2018;
and

WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works Laborers didn’t receive a
wage adjustment due to Wisconsin State Law, Act 10; and

WHEREAS, the Village Board recognizes the work of the Public Works
Laborers; and

WHEREAS, the Village Board believes that a lump sum payment to Jessie
Gebhardt, John Gresk, and Chance Celeste in lieu of raises for the years 2017 &
2018 is appropriate.

NOW THEREFORE, the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine
County, Wisconsin does hereby resolve that one lump sum payment of $1,750
authorized and paid in 2018 for the Department of Public Works Laborers, Jessie
Gebhardt, John Gresk, and Chance Celeste.

Adopted by the Village Board of the Village of Sturtevant, Racine
County, Wisconsin, this 7th day of November, 2018.
