another all-out military conflict since both Israel and Hamas's regional patrons are focused on more pressing domestic and foreign policy matters, but given the current political conflict, the risks of further escalation remain significant.8 The two countries previously mentioned, Qatar and Egypt, are attempting to make this a massive foreign issue that will allow them to take a stand and promote peace.
Countries in general have different reasons and causes for entering war. The most common are issues surrounding land, freedom, authority, power, oppression, religion, and revenge. These are all issues that have culminated into one massive conflict between Israel and Hamas/Palestine. The two countries constantly fight over land by the Gaza strip, compete for freedom of their people daily, attempt to gain more power and authority through the war over land, and also protect their people and their people’s established religions. Once any of these issues have been used to start a war, revenge occurs automatically, whether it is physical or not. Moreover, communications can cause war between two parties or sides. When there are previous bad relationships between states, like what occurs in the Middle East, it takes time and obstacles to overcome in order to solve it and formulate a peace plan. With countries having different and oftentimes unfavorable government policies, it takes multiple efforts to solidify a concrete solution that benefits both sides equally. This flows into the next choice of entry into war, which is the difference in institutions. Governments of different states have different policies and run their countries in different ways. When governments disagree on policies and agendas, it is extremely difficult for the two to come together and make peace. The leaders of war and the established military involvement of the
