Jeremiah 18:19                                  561                                 Jeremiah 20:5

               of his words.  19 Hearken vnto mee, O Lord, and the fielde.   8  And I will make this citie desolate
               heare the voyce of them that contend with me. and an hissing, so that euery one that passeth
               20  Shall euill be recompensed for good? for they thereby, shalbe astonished and hisse because of
               haue digged a pit for my soule: remember that I all ye plagues thereof.    9  And I will feede the
               stood before thee, to speake good for the, and to with the flesh of their sonnes and with the flesh
               turne away thy wrath from them.    21  Therefore,  of their daughters, and euery one shall eate the
               deliuer vp their children to famine, and let them  flesh of his friende in the siege and straitnesse,
               drop away by the force of the sworde, and let     wherewith their enemies that seeke their liues,
               their wiues be robbed of their children, and be   shall hold them strait.  10 Then shalt thou breake
               widowes: and let their husbands be put to death,  the bottell in the sight of the men that go with
               and let their yong men be slayne by the sword in  thee,  11 And shalt say vnto them, Thus saith ye
               the battell.  22  Let the crye bee heard from their  Lord of hostes, Euen so will I breake this people
               houses, when thou shalt bring an hoste suddenly   and this citie, as one breaketh a potters vessell,
               vpon them: for they haue digged a pit to take     that cannot be made whole againe, and they shall
               me, and hid snares for my feete.  23 Yet Lord thou  bury them in Topheth till there be no place to
               knowest al their counsel against me tendeth to    bury.  12  Thus will I doe vnto this place, sayth the
               death: forgiue not their iniquitie, neither put   Lord, and to the inhabitantes thereof, and I will

               out their sinne from thy sight, but let them be   Ierusalem, and the houses of the Kings of Iudah
               ouerthrowen before thee: deale thus with them
               in the time of thine anger.                       shalbe defiled as the place of Topheth, because of

                                     19                          incense vnto all the host of heauen, and haue
                                                                 powred out drinke offerings vnto other gods.
                  1  Thus sayth the Lord, Goe, and buy an earthen  14 Then came Ieremiah from Topheth, where the
               bottel of a potter, and take of the ancients of the Lord had sent him to prophecie, and he stood in
               people, and of the ancients of the Priests, And the court of the Lordes house, and sayde to all

               7  And I will bring the counsell of Iudah and     eyes shall beholde it, and I will giue all Iudah
               Ierusalem to nought in this place, and I will cause  into the hande of the King of Babel, and he shall
               them to fall by the sword before their enemies,   cary them captiue into Babel, and shall slay them
               and by the hand of them that seeke their liues:   with the sworde. Moreouer, I will deliuer all the

               and their carkeises will I giue to be meate for   substance of this citie, and all the labours thereof,
               ye foules of the heauen, and to the beastes of and al the precious things thereof, and all the
