            drinke.  3  Then tooke I Iaazaniah, the sonne he gaue them, but this people hath not obeyed
            of Ieremiah the sonne of Habazziniah, and his    me.  17 Therefore thus saith the Lord of hostes, the
            brethren, and all his sonnes, and the whole house  God of Israel, Beholde, I will bring vpon Iudah,

            of the Rechabites, And I brought them into the   and vpon all the inhabitants of Ierusalem, all
            House of the Lord, into the chamber of the sonnes  the euill that I haue pronounced against them,
            of Hanan, the sonne of Igdaliah a man of God,    because I haue spoke vnto them, but they would
            which was by the chamber of the princes, which   not heare, and I haue called vnto them, but they

            Shallum, the keeper of the treasure.  5  And I set  would not answere.  And Ieremiah said to the
                                                             house of the Rechabites, Thus saith the Lord of
            before the sonnes of the house of the Rechabites,  hostes the God of Israel, Because ye haue obeyed
            pots full of wine, and cuppes, and said vnto them,  the commandement of Ionadab your father, and
            Drinke wine.   6  But they said, We will drinke
            no wine: for Ionadab the sonne of Rechab our     kept all his precepts, and done according vnto all
            father commanded vs, saying, Ye shall drinke     that hee hath commanded you,   19 Therefore thus
            no wine, neither you nor your sonnes for euer.   saiththeLordofhostes, theGodofIsrael, Ionadab
            7  Neither shall ye build house, nor sow seede,  the sonne of Rechab shall not want a man, to
                                                             stand before me for euer.
            nor plant vineyarde, nor haue any, but all your
            dayes ye shall dwell in tentes, that ye may liue                        36
            a long time in the land where ye be strangers.      1  And in the fourth yeere of Iehoiakim the

            fielde, nor seede,  10  But we haue remained in dayes of Iosiah vnto this day. It may bee that the
            tentes, and haue obeyed, and done according to House of Iudah will heare of all the euill, which
            all that Ionadab our father commanded vs.  11 But I determined to doe vnto them that they may
            when Nebuchad-nezzar King of Babel came vp returne euery man from his euil way, that I may
            into the land, we said, Come, and let vs go to forgiue their iniquitie and their sinnes.   4  Then
            Ierusalem, from the hoste of the Caldeans, and Ieremiah called Baruch the sonne of Neriah, and
            from the host of Aram: so we dwel at Ierusalem. Baruch wrote at the mouth of Ieremiah all the

            all my seruants the Prophetes, rising vp earely,  way, for great is the anger and the wrath, that
            and sending, them, saying, Returne nowe euery    the Lord hath declared against this people.  8 So
            man from his euill way, and amende your workes,  Baruch the sonne of Neriah did according vnto
            and goe not after other gods to serue them, and  all, that Ieremiah the Prophet commanded him,
            ye shall dwel in the lande which I haue giuen    reading in the booke the wordes of the Lord in the

            vnto you, and to your fathers, but ye would not  Lords House. And in the fift yeere of Iehoiakim
            encline your eare, nor obey mee.   16  Surely the  the sonne of Iosiah King of Iudah, in the ninth
            sonnes of Ionadab the sonne of Rechab, haue      moneth, they proclaimed a fast before the Lord
                                                             to all the people in Ierusalem, and to all the
