            your vowes and doe the things that yee haue sonne of Iosiah King of Iudah. Make readie buck-
            vowed.  26 Therefore heare the word of the Lord, ler and shielde, and goe forth to battell.  4  Make
            all Iudah that dwel in the land of Egypt. Beholde, I  readie the horses, and let the horsemen get vp,
            haue sworne by my great Name, sayeth the Lord,   and stande vp with your sallets, fourbish the

            Egypt, shalbe consumed by the sword, and by the nor the strong man escape: they shall stumble,
            famine, vntill they be vtterly destroied.  28  Yet and fall towarde the North by the riuer Perath.

            into the lande of Egypt to dwell there, shall know the riuers, and he sayth, I wil goe vp, and will
            whose words shall stad, mine or theirs.  29  And couer the earth: I wil destroy the citie with them
            this shall be a signe vnto you, saith the Lord,  that dwell therein.  9  Come vp, ye horses, and
            whe I visit you in this place, that ye may know  rage ye charets, and let the valiant men come
            that my words shall surely stand against you for  foorth, the blacke Mores, and the Lybians that
            euill.  30 Thus sayth the Lord, Beholde, I will giue  beare the shield, and the Lydians that handle and
            Pharaoh Hophra King of Egypt into the hand of    bend the bowe.   10  For this is the day of ye Lord
            his enemies, and into the hand of them that seeke  God of hostes, and a day of vengeance, that he

              1  The worde that Ieremiah the Prophet spake balme, O virgine, the daughter of Egypt: in vaine
            vnto Baruch the sonne of Neriah, when he had shalt thou vse many medicines: for thou shalt
            written these woordes in a booke at the mouth haue no health.      12  The nations haue heard of
            of Ieremiah, in the fourth yeere of Iehoiakim thy shame, and thy crie hath filled the lande: for

            sayeth the Lord God of Israel vnto thee, O Baruch, they are fallen both together.  13 The woorde that

            which I haue planted, will I plucke vp, euen this thee: for the sworde shall deuoure rounde about
            whole lande. And seekest thou great things for thee.     15  Why are thy valiant men put backe?

            thy self? seeke them not: for beholde, I wil bring they could not stand, because the Lord did driue
            a plague vpon al flesh, saith the Lord: but thy life them.  16  Hee made many to fall, and one fell
            wil I giue thee for a pray in all places, whither vpon another: and they saide, Arise, let vs goe
            thou goest.                                      againe to our owne people, and to the land of
                                                             our natiuitie from the sworde of the violent.
