Jeremiah 49:34                                 588                                 Jeremiah 50:23

            there shall no man dwell there, nor the sonnes I will raise, and cause to come vp against Babel
            of men remaine in it.  34 The woordes of the Lord  a multitude of mightie natios from the North
            that came to Ieremiah the Prophet, concerning    countrey, and they shall set themselues in aray
            Elam, in the beginning of the reigne of Zedekiah  against her, whereby shee shall be taken: their
            King of Iudah, saying,  35  Thus sayeth the Lord  arrowes shall be as of a strong man, which is
            of hostes, Beholde, I will breake the bowe of    expert, for none shall returne in vaine.  10  And
