I. Research Study Title - Producing a video to communicate a new model of
coaching to GAA Coaches

II. Clarification of the purpose of the research
The purpose of this project is to produce a video to communicate the ‘Coach 10’ Model of
effective coaching to GAA Coaches.
In the process of the production of the video feedback will be gathered to help improve the
video as well as to evaluate the production after it is completed and to improve future versions
of the video after the conclusion of this project.
III. Confirmation of particular requirements as highlighted in the Plain Language
Statement
As a participant in this study I will be required to partake in:
• Preparation for video interview
• Being interviewed on video (approx. 1.5 hours)
• Provision of feedback in the video production process

Opinions and feedback collected as part of correspondence, interviews, and questionnaires
will be analysed by the principal researcher alone. No sensitive data of a personal nature will
be sought.
Legal limitations to data confidentiality are covered by the Data Protection Act 1988 and by
the Data Protection (Amendment) Act 2003.
VI. Any other relevant information
All contributions will be treated within the context of the project being undertaken and the
described aim of the project. All feedback will be regarded as constructive.
