35- Fabric: a cloth or other material produced by weaving any
types of threads for making things such as clothes, curtains,
and sheets.
36- Cloth: fabric which is made by weaving or knitting
a substance such as cotton, wool, silk, or nylon for making
clothes.
37- Material: cloth which can be used to make things such as
clothes.
38- Canvas: a strong, rough cloth used for making tents, sails,
bags, strong clothes, etc.
39- Tulle: a light cloth like a net of silk or similar material which
is used on dresses, or to decorate hats.
40- Fibre (Br.E.) = Fiber (Am.E.): threads when they are in a
mass that can be used for making products such as cloth
and rope.
Example: natural fibres – synthetic/artificial/man-made
fibres.
41- Thread: a very thin fibre.
Example: needle and thread.
