76- Metallic: consisting of, or partly consisting of, metal.
77- Steel: a strong metal which is a mixture of iron and carbon,

    and which is used for making things which need a strong
    structure, especially vehicles and buildings.
78- Stainless steel: a type of steel containing chromium, which
    does not chemically react with air or water and does not
    change its colour.
79- Rust: a reddish brown substance that forms on the surface
    of iron and steel as a result of decay caused by reacting with
    air and water.
80- Rusty: covered with rust.
81- Rustproof: protected against rust.
82- Iron: a common silver-coloured metal element which is
    magnetic. It is strong and used in making steel.
83- Aluminium (Br.E.) = Aluminum (Am.E.): a light metallic
    element which is silver in colour and used especially for
    making cooking equipments and aircraft parts.
84- Tin: a silvery-coloured metal, often combined with other
    metals or used to cover and protect other metals.
85- Mercury = quicksilver (Old use): a heavy silver-coloured
    metal which is liquid at ordinary temperatures.
86- Gold: a valuable, shiny, yellow metal used to make coins
    and jewellery.
87- Silver: a valuable shiny white metal that is used for making
    utensils, jewellery, coins and decorative objects.
88- Copper: a reddish-brown metal used especially for making
    wire and coins, or the reddish brown colour of this metal.
89- Brass: bright yellow metal made from copper and zinc.
90- Bronze: a brown metal made of copper and tin.
