ASSEMBLY SYSTEM TEMPORARY ACCESS PLATFORM INTO THE SHAFT
USER MANUAL V01 SEPTEMBER 2019
1. BACKGROUND
The assembly of an elevator in the shaft entails significant fall risks as vertical work
at height.
At present, scaffolding and ladders are used, resulting the scaffolding an expensive
and expensive auxiliary equipment, which in addition to long elevator routes
involves a considerable hauling of material to the last floor, and also occupies the
entire shaft, making corrective work difficult under.
Ladders are dangerous with bad supports are improvised and do not offer enough
security.
In general, these auxiliary tools used for these tasks require several people for
transportation and assembly, and they have dimensions that often make it
impossible to work in small shafts in existing buildings installing new lifts or partial
modernization.
These inconveniences are overcome with the use of the PAT work platform
