PrOTEST ArT

Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts speakers Andy Geronimo and
Andrea Liguore presented “Protest Art: Free Speech and its
Legal Boundaries” on nov. 29 at SPACES Gallery. The packed
and energetic crowd of artists and attorneys learned about
boundaries between “public” and “private” display of artwork,
and recent developments in the areas of hate speech and
public demonstrations that impact artists.

Veterans in the legal profession, from all branches of service, were
honored at the CMBA’s inaugural Veteran Recognition Program on
Tuesday, november 13, 2018. Assistant U.S. Attorney Matt Sheppard gave
the keynote address with remarks from Judge Michael Jackson and former
CMBA President david Kutik. To learn more about this event and how to
