He knows nothing about me and
even if he were told about me, we still
would not have a relationship. Why?
Because we have never spent any time
together. We have not corresponded. We
have not talked. We do not know each
other on a personal level.

Developing a Relationship
Relationships are developed by talk-
ing with one another and getting to know
what the other person is all about. This
takes spending time with them.
A relationship with God is developed
in the same way. We can get to know
who He is by reading about Him or hear-
ing about Him. But there is no relation-
ship established unless we spend time
with Him.
It is so fulfilling and satisfying to have
a relationship with the Lord; the desire to
keep searching for something more no
longer exists.
