regain.

Respect All Staff

• The administrators, the receptionists, the porters, the

ward and theatre nurses, the scrub staff, the theatre
runner, the recovery staff, and many of those others
around you, they too have a vital role to play.

• Treat them with the respect they deserve.

• Be courteous, be polite. Respect their opinions, value
their input.

• They may not be surgeons, but are professionals in
their own right.

• Treat them as part of the team, make them feel at
ease.
