Marc joined AB Sugar in April 2020 in
the middle of the lockdown, in the role of Strategic Information Technology Director at AB Sugar. Marc in his role provides strategic leadership and gives support and guidance on IT matters whilst also challenging and providing the sounding board to the individual business leaders.
Before joining AB Sugar Marc ran his own consultancy, with one of his most recent assignments being an CIO Advisor for Hewlett Packard Enterprise, advising clients

Prior to this, Marc built a successful IT career at Walgreens Boots Alliance, and over his 18 year international career has been involved
in the business transition, has built and led a cross-divisional IT shared services function and held positions as country/regional CIO.
Marc is originally from the Netherlands and is married to Sabrina who is from France. They have 2 kids, Elliott (11) and Chloé (8).

They moved to the UK in 2013 and home is in Nottingham. Marc has also two older kids Tim (23) and Anouk (21), who both live and study in Rotterdam.
In his spare time Marc is a FA L1 football coach for Elliott’s team, he likes to run and enjoys quality time with the family, either outside (tennis, biking) or inside (Saturday Night Movie with popcorn).
