in the school and also makes the process of learning easier. In as much as the school
offers theoretical subjects it also offers practical subjects such as Construction,
Engineering Graphic and Design, Science as well as Consumer studies, now in ensuring
effective learning for learners taking these subjects the school has adequate resources
to cater for when these learners take on their practical work. Furthermore, the school
provides learners with textbooks so as to present learners with an equal opportunity to
learn yet something that is quite dazzling is that the school does not have a library.

Learner`s behaviour: Majority of the learners enrolled in the school come from
disadvantaged backgrounds, which plays a negative impact in the way the larger part of
these learners get to behave and carry themselves around the school. Possibly one might
argue that issues such as the high rate of teenage pregnancy, bullying, drop-out, violence
as well as drug usage are a consequence of these poverty stricken backgrounds that they
               come from.

Academic performance: Even though majority of the learners in the school are affected
by certain issues some of which are socio-economic issues they have together with the
management of the school as well as parents and the members of the community
managed to maintain the high pass rate of falling no below 80% in Grade 12 in the past
4 years. This makes the schools to be one of the best performing schools in the district.
Moreover, this pass rate in Grade 12 shows a significant improvement in learner
performance when compared to that of the Grade 8 learners who are newly from primary
school and are not performing well.
