disclosure of how the school carries out its day-to-day activities to ensure
that effective teaching and learning is taking place in the respective
classrooms. In order for that to happen the school will need Ideal teachers
who will be suitable for the school context of Musi High and be able to
add value to the school as a whole and the future of our learners.
The school will need an Ideal teacher who embraces diversity in his/her
teaching practice as learners come from different cultural backgrounds
and social status, you should be culturally sensitive and aware of such
differences such as language, religious beliefs, age and social class when
making examples in the classroom.
Musi High is a modern school which is updated with the ever changing
demands of technology and the introduction of the 4IR in schools, the
school has smartboards and projectors in the classrooms to enhance
learning. It will require an Ideal teacher who is a life-long learner and
someone who beliefs and embrace the introduction of the 4IR in the
classroom. The teacher should be able to incorporate technology in
learning in a form of electronic devices and smartboards in order to make
learning more interesting and keep up with demands of the 21 century
st
education.
The school also needs a teacher who will be an inspiration to them and
equip learners with the necessary skills that will prepare them for the real
world after school. Skills such as Creativity, Innovation, Social skills,
Computer literary and other skills that are needed to survive in the 21
st
century. A role model is what learners need in order to be inspired, Musi
high will need Ideal teachers who are dedicated and professional to lead
by example in everything that they do, be it punctuality, ethics, and dress
code.
And lastly, the school could benefit from someone who knows that true
learning begins with a question, with a motivation of curiosity and
discovery and in an environment where learners feel free to express
themselves and safe to make mistakes without any judgement. The
concept of failing forward or learning from mistakes is rewarded and
acknowledged in the classroom.
