CYCLIST

Requirements:
1. Own or have the satisfactorily use for at least six months of a cycle, properly
equipped and in good working order.

2. Be able to make simple adjustments and repairs at the discretion of the examiner
(e.g. Change a tyre and tube, mend a puncture, replace a brake shoe and block,
adjust the height of the saddle and handle bar to enable a younger boy to ride the
cycle.

3. Demonstrate that you know and observe the Highway Code, traffic signals, road
signs, national system of road names, signs and directions.

4. Be able to read a Road Map.
5. Take part in a Cub Scout activity which includes the use of cycles.

ENTERTAINER

Requirements:

1. Entertain by yourself for at least fifteen minutes with a varied programme from
the following: songs, recitations, conjuring tricks, character sketches, storytelling,
dancing – step or talk instrumental music and any special entertainment skill you
possesses.

2. Play a leading role in an entertainment event put on by your patrol or group.

3. Take part with a Church, school or any other community group in an
entertainment programme.
